WHOAA! Jaguar sets a new "Go Woke go Broke" record as sales plunge 97.5%!

(I really wish pictures were working right now)

“Jaguar’s Bold Leap into the Future: Embracing Wokeness for a New Era” has compeltely totally and miserably failed.

They probalby with they were Bud Light right now

After the most ridiculous wokest rebranding ad in memory (try the link below) sales at Jaguar have plunged 97.5%.

Best guess? The 103-year-old company is now a complete goner and cannot be saved.

When the ad came out:

Now, sales have plunged 97.5%

British luxury carmaker Jaguar is facing its steepest sales decline in decades, following a radical rebrand that has drawn sharp criticism from industry experts, dealers, and long-time customers. Only 49 Jaguar vehicles were registered in Europe in April 2025, a 97.5 percent drop compared to 1,961 units in the same month last year. Year-to-date sales between January and April fell 75.1 percent, with just 2,665 cars sold across the continent. . . .

I cannot believe you linked that trash article with that ridiculous headline “going woke”.

They are going out of business because their cars suck. They are unreliable. They’ve been in decline for years prior to the rebrand (which also was stupid).

But it wasn’t the EV push.

Umm if the cars were trash, then
sales would be bad and flat for years.

Instead… they sold 1,961 in April 2024
but only 49 units in April 2025.

Please whatever you do. Do not open a business.

:rofl::rofl:

Don’t open a business

They were already done for, because interest rates are too high for debt pigs to buy them. Masarati competes for the same customers who don’t know anything about cars or money, and they’re also down 57%

Here is the latest Ferrai ad:
There is a complete absence of multicultural gender-undefined men in skirts. It touts a 1,200hp tubo V6.

Oh, and Jaguar’s closest competitors are Mercedes and BMW.
They are much larger companies, but their April sales are basicall flat vs April lst year.

Their rebrand killed them. Everyone saw this coming. Who are they trying to appeal to? Not the masses. I’m not interested in any of their new stuff. But in a year or so I’ll look for a used Jag that has that supercharged V8 they discontinued. Love that car.

A fantastic vehicle that I cannot afford. But at least it’s not posing as gay.

Who would have thought not having any cars to sell would you see you hit rock bottom?

So, pure insanity actually can destroy a major company. I thought Target and Bush just showed they could harm it badly.

From 2000 a month to 50 a month in one year. This is not the result of a long trend.

It a major drop off following a 5 year trend of dropping sales.

Simple truth is they suck. And have sucked for a long time.

That stupid rebranding was just the final nail in the coffin.

Correct. Land Rover is keeping them afloat. Almost no one picks a jaguar over a bmw, Lexus or Mercedes.

Anyone who picks a jag over the Germans deserves the awful reliability in my opinion. Jag hasn’t been truly great since I was a child in the early 90s.

Yeah but they didn’t suddenly start sucing on March 31st.

I think maybe peopl who pay Jaguar prices for a jaguar are buying an image and ummm . . . “Hi I’m SUPERGAY!” is not the image they wanted to buy.

It didn’t help that’s for sure.

Your cars are already stereotyped for being a total piece of ■■■■ that will bankrupt people worth millions. Making it gay is just insult to injury.

Sure. It’s been several years of sucking

Decades really. Only thing modern Jag has had going for it was that the 5.0 JLR engine sounds fantastic. Other than that, piles of garbage. And they didn’t have the weird brand loyalty Range Rover owners give that pile of garbage.
