Whoa! The NYT and DJT on the same page?

In a rare moment of honesty, the Times let the truth slip out. That the Somalis were “raised in a culture of stealing.” I know, shocking right? So, let’s dispense with the other big lie. That democrats are concerned with the well being of the downtrodden Somali immigrant. When nobody is believing the lie, it’s time to find a better lie. Democrats are concerned with losing a key Minnesota voting block. Nothing more. Everyone knows this so let’s dispense with the bull ■■■■

So what now? ICE needs to immediately get the Somalis who already have deportation orders the hell outta here. Then go after the money launderers. Anyone who was involved in the scam, needs have their citizenship revoked, have their assets seized and to go to prison. Then get sent home. Anyone who received money from the scam should also get a one way ticket to paradise. Finally, the libs who interfere with ICE to try to protect their voting block, need to be stuffed and cuffed. No more Mr. Nice ICE.

Did the NYT provide any context as to why Somalis would be accustomed to stealing from the government?

You people always ask me questions that you are fully capable of looking up yourself. As I said. I ain’t Wikipedia. I’m not looking up anything for you.

No the NYT did not say that they reported what they were told by a doctor.

However with that said if Walz and his administration ignored the red flags then he should resign.

It’s literally in the article you provided in your OP.

The Times added that “Somali refugees who came to the United States after their country’s civil war were raised in a culture in which stealing from the country’s dysfunctional and corrupt government was widespread.”

For sure. But his main concern wasn’t enforcing the law, it was not offending a key voting block. He should do the honorable thing and resign. But he won’t.

Then why did you ask me if you already knew?

Living in a poor country isn’t an excuse to steal from the rich country that graciously let you come in. Deport their thieving asses. Right?

The NYT let the truth slip out in an article they published and presumably edited.

So if it was edited, what did they actually say? Are they claiming they were misquoted?

Here’s a funny one! The mayor of St. Paul thinks that the feds should simply ignore the Somali organized crime racket and search for some unknown European offenders instead. He’s pretty much admitting that he wants his voting block protected.

And any politician who ignores a problem in fear of offending a voting block should be held accountable. If they dont resign then the voters need to take action at the next election.

You will never stop fraud but when you are made aware of it then its plain wrong to ignore it or explain it away.

All True.

Why do you not post what he actually said?

Carter said, “[B]y the way, those fraud allegations were uncovered by local law enforcement, and our state’s attorney general pressed charges. Our state’s law enforcement presence is what caught that, is what held those folks accountable. So it’s another example that we actually don’t need, those federal agents are not adding value in our community. They’re actually doing quite the opposite by providing a destabilizing force."

Emphasis mine…a key contextual element that you somehow failed to mention.

Why is that?

Oh and by the way, you do realize the NYT is owned by a more conservative owner now, don’t you?

So the NYT isn’t the “Liberal New York Times” we all used to know.

If federal laws were violated, then federal charges should be filed. The state of Minnesota has judges who overturn convictions of Somalis, governors who ignore Somali money laundering and mayors who want the feds to look for European crime. They want to protect their voting block. And so do you, whicj is why federal charges need to be filed.

The other kind of editing, before an article is published.

What was edited before publishing?

That’s a nice opinion and all, but it still does not change the fact that you left out key context, and my question is, why did you do that?

And if you wonder why you are asked this a lot, it’s because you do it all the time.

If you want a real conversation, it’s important to lay ALL the context on the table.

Not an opinion. There is zero democrat enthusiasm for holding this voting block accountable. If you can list three or four democrats who want justice, that would be great. They totally ignored it until they got caught.

Why did you leave out important context that @JayJay shared? Was it intentional or an accident?
