it was a ■■■■ sandwich to begin with but as someone else mentioned if you were against it at that time you supported Terrorism. please spare me the crap about change… soon as Obama was elected there was change alright… so much changed Mitch McConnell veto’d his own bill because it went along with Obama liked
I certainly didn’t like when the person said that of Obama or many of the other cheap shot comments on Obama in that way.
I really don’t understand why you have to have an ALL or Nothing mentality towards everything.
Yes I voted for Trump, Doesn’t mean i respect everything he does and I can pick and choose what i like and don’t like. Or what i support and don’t support.
So you still can’t answer. Were you happy that Obama Continued it?
So you give excuses to the dems who change their tune because they would be called supporting Terrorism so you accept them changing their minds but not conservatives .
Just stop that. Because we can see how Obama changed his mind on same sex marriage and you fell that was justified and ok. But NO ONE ELSE CAN I call BS on that.
i didnt like it from the get go and no i was not happy with everything that Obama did but he did it with civility… please for the love of everything that is good, never compare Trump to Obama that is an asinine comparison
You guys are hating on this man simply because Trump insulted him, and you would rather pile on than to face the fact that your leader is an ■■■■■■■■
You guys are all a bunch of school yard kids who would rather stand with the bully. It’s very sad to watch actually. conservatism used to be a principled and consistency ideology that served as a noble foil to liberalism. Now is a cabal. A pack of jackals.
I didn’t compare OBAMA and TRUMP you did.
I don’t give a ■■■■ that Obama was more civil than Trump.
Trump has done some things I approve of just as Obama did while there are other things that I don’t.
So you are basically saying you like to have BS blown up your ass as long as it is civil.
I would prefer not to have BS either way.
The attitude we’re seeing in politics and in the wider social discourse has always been there, but it began to accelerate during the Bush (43) years. It hit terminal velocity during Obama’s administration, and ran into a brick wall with Donald. He’s not terribly original in anything, he is the natural end result of a society that places a high value on celebrity and tribalism. One can hope that when he leaves office both parties will respond with a return to reason and civility, but I wouldn’t count on it - I’d like to think Donald is the nadir and we have nowhere to go but up from here, but I refuse to overestimate the electorate. I’ll happily eat a big slice of crow if they prove me wrong.
My only comment: The man is dying. Show some respect, folks (and that includes the Trump Admin.). And that this got twisted into a libs vs con thing is pretty sickening. Step back for a minute.
Hell, I’ve told many people over the decades that once we got our first female/minority/non Christian president that all hell was gonna break loose. We’re simply watching all that play out. It’s totally expected.
And what’s really funny is the “first” one we got was fairly moderate (lower deficit, good family, respected the office, etc). Not that the extremes would ever admit it.
I think you guys are making the same mistake @MoleUK made earlier. Rose was saying that he did not support McCain in the Primary but voted for him over Obama in the General, during the 2008 Presidential Election. For what it is worth.
