I can’t stand Bergoglio.
But it is clear Strickland went way too far.
The things he has said and done just go far beyond the pale for somebody in a position of high religious authority.
While I do criticize Bergoglio’s general attempts to suppress conservative elements in the Catholic Church, in this particular case, he really had no choice.
