If I told you it was raining right now and invited to look out of the window to see for yourself, would you refuse to look out the window and then declare that you doubt that it’s raining outside, accuse me of breaking some rule, demand a description of what outside of the window appears to be and hit me with 100 more questions about it - or simply look out of the window ?

If you told me it’s raining right now outside of my window ? Of course not.
If you told me about rain that has taken place in the past at a specific location (one that I can’t view outside of my window) and you have a video that captured it, it sure would.
