Have you heard about burglary tourism now happening in southern California? No, not from Mexico but apparently Chile and Columbia IIRC.
When robbers feel safer in your neighborhood than robbing in their own country something is really messed up.

No I had not heard of it.
I had not heard of if before either but it seems these are organized gangs who enter the country legally and target specific areas.
I also found reports of the UK being targeted in the same way. They will target a high net worth individual or individual.

Put their lifeless bodies on a pike by the arrival zone at the international terminal. Put up a sign with their country of origin and the circumstances of how an armed citizen shot them for attempting to rob them, or their home.
