What would you consider yourself politically?

What would you consider yourself politically? A Far Left Wing Radical Socialist, A Democrat, More moderate and in the middle and neutral? A Republican, or a Conservative? Or whatever in general you associate with?

Centralist

I don’t like meaningless labels.

Me either. ICE is a label, so let’s not talk about them. Supreme Court Justices are also labeling, we should never talk about them either. What else can we not label? I would never want to intentionally offend anybody, or hurt anyone’s feelings. What are you feeling right now Doctor?
And how do labels make you feel?

I never understand what your posts are supposed to mean.

Could you translate this for me?

your the doctor, get a translator yourself. Make sure that he has common sense though.
I’m tired of explaining every little thing to Democrats on here, and they can’t have the same respect in return.

I’m sorry, I don’t think I can find anyone else to translate your stream-of-conscious rants into decipherable English. That appears to be something only you can do.

There’s no need to be unpleasant. You made a post directed at me, and I asked you to explain it to me. It doesn’t seem like an inappropriate question, I don’t know why you’re getting so upset about it.

What makes you think I’m a “Democrat”?

Well, first you talk like a Democrat. saying; “you don’t like meaning less labels.”
And also after clicking on your profile and seeing who you mostly respond to.
Who gives you likes, and who you like the most. Any other brain busting questions Einstein?

What is “democrat”?

Are you trying to describe an ideology? Or a voter registration?

I am registered as an independant. My ideology is to shy away from ideological rules and labels.

I consider a person a Democrat or Republican by what they believe in politically.
Bernie Sanders is a so called Independent, but he’s a Far Left Wing Socialist.
If you don’t know the definitions of the things that I’m talking about, I’ll let you look them
up. That way I won’t have to waste my time explaining them to you.

Republican or Democrat are irrelevant if you wanna know a person’s ideology. I know some Dems that are more conservative than trump as well as I know some repubs that are as liberal as Pelosi.
I consider myself a fiscal conservative and social libertarian. Switched my party registration from Republican to independent.

Is this thread about how you define ideologies, or how people describe themselves?

You don’t have to make a post here if this thread offends you?
You have every right to flag any thread, if you feel that it is off subject or off topic to that
group thread.

Nothing about this thread “offends” me. I’m trying to clarify what your point was, in starting this thread.

I don’t know why you’re getting so defensive.

You left off Independent and Libertarian in your equation. I associate with both but those parties don’t win Presidential elections so since the Democrats are completely off the rails the only common sense choice is Republican at this point in time.

Libs will always pretend to be something they are not. We even have people here who are absolutely certain that they are the epitome of conservatism and they have been that for a long time. Maybe in some ridiculously wonky discussion they differ from libs. BUT ON THIS FORUM, they are marching arm in arm with libs 90% of the time.

So it may be an interesting exercise to ask people but progressive libs are deceptive. Getting the truth from them is impossible.

Politically homeless.

Ideologically speaking I’m 90% right leaning libertarian with a left wing tint when it comes to labor.

The labeling issue is not about that. It is that the labels are pointless and inaccurate.

Anti Trump conservative. I would rather not vote than vote for liberals.
