Somehow I expect that the FBI investigation into the botched Trump assassination will be a lot like this classic SNL sketch of senators comparing notes with Judge Thomas about the best ways to pick up female subordinates.
Here is a starting point for dialog for a similar sketch for the FBI and the Secret Service:
FBI: You knew that local police were supposed to stay away from the roof, but a local cop poked his head above the roof anyway. That spooked Crooks and he flubbed his shot. How could you let that happen?
SS: It is not our fault that Crooks flubbed the shot. We gave him a free shot from 150 yards. We let him fly his drone and take in a rangefinder to scope out the site. We made sure that the substitute manager in charge had zero experience with security of this kind. Clearly you need to improve training of prospective patsies . . .
I doubt that SNL would ever touch a similar sketch. Maybe the Babylon Bee?
