What will happen to MAGA in 2029?

Sounds to me as though you shouldn’t be here at all.

She will. The spleen can only hold so much hatred before it has to be vented.

It’s really not a cult it boils down to three things, which democrats could’ve taken a stance on instead of thumbing their nose at and losing the SC for 20 years.

I’m not sure what’s cultish about some of their core issues it pretty much reads like Ron Paul’s 2012 political stances, seems to me common sense rather than Jonestown.

  • Less migration,
  • Try and return manufacturing to the U.S. less outsourcing/in-sourcing of U.S. jobs
  • less foreign entanglement.

I am pretty sure Bill Clinton and Senator Obama was campaigning on the same three issues when running

If it offends you, then well…your a thin skinned child. How some of these people survive in the real world is beyond me. They either spend the day with ear buds in OR spend a lot of time writing complaints to submit to HR.

I’m not offended by the hypocrisy.

It’s kind of entertaining.

She can’t. It would appear as though she huffed, and puffed, and flamed out like a little girl.

Only VP who really broke out of the box was Idck Cheney. He was just influential on Bush era executive policy as Busy was. If anything, I’d categorize those 8 years as a co presidency.

I would not reject NBC news as the source. It’s an interesting article

On the other hand …

Trump:

“MAGA was my idea. MAGA was nobody else’s idea,” Trump told Fox News host Laura Ingraham in an interview that aired Monday. “I know what MAGA wants better than anybody else, and MAGA wants to see our country thrive.”

Some voters for Trump:

“President Donald Trump’s once unquestioned grip on his MAGA political base is showing signs of strain as some of his supporters have started pushing back on White House policy proposals they see as contrary to his long-held promises on immigration and the economy.“

Sounds like Trump is buying into the left’s story that he is worshipped and “maga” will do whatever he says.

No. He is followed because of his policies. IMO “maga”, to the extent it means anything, are people who agreed with most of his policies, not people who will buy off on anything he says.

People going to his rallies and booing him for pushing the vaccine at those rallies kind of prove you right but only somewhat. I think there is some internal strife about questioning him

But also i think there are chickens coming home to roost. He keeps promising all these things including frog marches and they are getting tired of waiting
Or maybe they are being personally affected by his policies.

I think there is a lot to unpack

Will probably elect a Vance/Rubio ticket.

Or a Rubio/Vance ticket. :+1:

“I think polls are fake. We have the greatest economy we’ve ever had.”

Sounds like the tact the Biden administration took towards the end. Our problem is to communicate how great the economy is. What we have here is a failure to communicate.

Or a Rubio/someone who is not a far-right conservative ticket.

Right that’s actually the entire point. Is it great?
