My money is on Rubio. His DC experience shows in how he handles himself. He is clearly the 1st among equals in the Cabinet.

Back in 2016, Rubio was my first choice. I voted for him in the Texas primary. I hope he chooses to run in 2028.

Rubio is involved in all of the major foreign affairs issues. He is the one developing the contacts with foreign governments and leaders that a President is supposed to bring to the table. And he is effectively working towards what Trump policy is attempting to accomplish. The dark horse is the AG. She is capable, tough, law and order all the way. Noem is the cheerleader for enforcement actions in the country, capable, but not national level political leadership. Sec Def is a turn around specialist, meant to change the command environment in DOD. The joint chiefs and unified commanders will be the advisors that Trump will turn to if we have to start shooting at anyone. Most of the rest of the cabinet are also turnaround specialists, meant to go in and reset the departments to more effecient and focused operations.

I donât know that she has the ambition to be President. But she is the next most capable cabinet member on the national stage, and the one in the next most prominent position to be able to strut her chops on a natural national focus (law and order).
People worry about the future as if it is a collective imaginary destiny of leveling up.
In this time, transmigrating deeper into beasthood is the norm. Rare to be born a human when they fail this time.
