These three do.
Jezcoe:How about not making assumptions.
That could be something that the GOP could do to get the African American vote.
What assumptions are the RNC making and what assumptions are the DNC making? Any examples? If you could put names to the examples, that would be greaat.
You were making certain assumptions as to what the GOP could offer To African Americans in order to get their vote.
The unsolicited advice given makes assumptions as to the education level, social status, marital status , etc of the people that are trying to be convinced.
Thinking that the voters that the GOP are going after needs that advice is part of the problem.
Seeing it at all now?
Jezcoe: WuWei: Jezcoe:People don’t fit into boxes.
Nations do. You still haven’t answered my question about their shared culture.
I’m going to bow out now.
Thanks for the interesting and civil discussion everybody. I’ll check back later.
Sure there is shared culture.
That doesn’t make them a homogeneous group of wokeness
It doesn’t make them a “Nation”.
These three do.
Which three?
Which three?
That was my question to you.
Jezcoe:Which three?
That was my question to you.
Oh. Got ya.
Nope. It doesn’t. Shared culture doesn’t make for homogeneity of thought.

These three do. And that’s not right any way.

Not true. I was asked. My point was that some people in the inner cities may be so disillusioned with how the democrats let their neighborhoods get trashed, that they would switch parties or not show up at all to vote. And I’m sure some will do that. How many? That remains to be seen.
The part about “attracting” black votes was not mine. I merely replied to it. Nice try.

How many times does it have to be said?
Black does not equal inner city.

There are ways that the GOP can address those issues.
It just takes work.

I’d love to hear it, but not really the point. Even in the absence of anything else, those three have formed a nation.

Which is as useful as using a horoscope.
Which is as useful as using a horoscope.
It is immensely useful if one is willing to power. It set how many major cities on fire? Got a VP slot.
It has made that nation a feared political force no one can criticize.
It mobilized the largest protests in US history according to some.
Very useful.

Dude. I hear nothing but constant criticism.
But hey. Treat Africa Americans as a homogeneous “nation”.
It will work out well for the GOP to get their vote.

I am.
The key to the GOP getting African American votes is to stop treating them as a “bloc”
Think of a nationwide bloc of voters. It’s nuts.
Stop this talk of appealing to black leaders. Literally no one talks of white leaders.
Appeal to the voter directly. Sell them on what the party provides them.
If they don’t want it… figure out what you can sell them.
I don’t know how many times I have to say it.
You seem to think white people and black people are the same. That works for one will work for the other?
That’s incorrect.
And there are voting blocs and leaders among whites. Huge ones.
The key to the GOP getting African American votes is to stop treating them as a “bloc”
Makes a lot of sense. Which party is better at grouping people?
You seem to think white people and black people are the same. That works for one will work for the other?
That’s incorrect.
And there are voting blocs and leaders among whites. Huge ones.
I am not saying that White people and Black people are the same.
Black people aren’t aliens though.
Who are these white leaders that have to be appealed to to get the white vote?
