What will become of MSNBC?

MSDNC going broke would be a blessing to the nation.

This has got to be devastating for our pals @Guilds, @PurpnGold, @biggestal99, @JayJay, @Jezcoe, etc.

I’m guessing it will be bought by someone like Al-Jazeera looking to use the name to give their news media more legitimacy.

The real value in the network resides in it’s name ‘MSNBC’.

It’s like the name ‘McDonald’s’. You take away the name, and the restaurants themselves become worthless.

MSNBC and “legitimacy”. Hmmm. I never think of those two words together.

What would you rather watch, AlJeezera or something remotely related to the National Broadcasting Corporation?

Why are those the only two choices?

None of the above. I don’t watch network news.

I’m trying to show how the name MSNBC conjures up an image of a more legitimate news agency than say Al-Jeezera. Which is about the only reason anyone would buy MSNBC.

They sure as hell wouldn’t buy it to own Rachel Maddow.

Fair enough. And yes, at least MSNBC isn’t al J’za. Or TASS.

Not yet, anyway.

Might want to check under the hood before making that assessment.

Not so fast, this ought to bring in millions and millions of viewers!

I can’t seriously believe anyone would watch.

This is comedy gold. Maddow isnt gay enough? Chris hayes is missing a huge opportunity. He has the gay look might as well capitalize on it.
