With less than 20% of Americans getting their news from cable news and that figure declining, the future is not bright for any of them.

Probably cease to exist once it’s current carriage contracts expire.

The off the wall networks only exist because they are bundled with more desirable networks when carriage contracts are negotiated.

Been on X lately? The posts on there spouting right wing ■■■■ are out of control. I get more of that in my feed than posts from accounts I actually follow.

I dont follow Musk but his posts somehow are always the first ones in my feed.

I stick around because a couple of movie/book accounts I follow still post on X.

No its not that at all, i seek out other views but its obvious Musk is tampering with the algorithm. Heck i do not even subscribe to him and his posts are in my feed.

He reposts any old garbage, its also weird to see more than ever memes been taken as fact.

I do like community notes though, that is one thing he has got right though it could be a lot better,
