What to do about Presidential Authority vs District Court Judges

About 73% of lower court cases reaching SCOTUS are reversed.

Here is his quote. Unlike you, I won’t pretend to know what is on his mind.

“I thought that was a profoundly wrong sentiment. That’s one half of his job. The other half of his job is to check the excesses of his own branch,” Vance stated. “You cannot have a country where the American people keep on electing immigration enforcement and the courts tell the American people they’re not allowed to have what they voted for. That’s where we are right now,” Vance continued.

Yes, I’m aware of the quote, I posted it. He’s clearly stating that the courts should go along with “immigration enforcement” because it’s what the people “voted for.” It’s plain English.

If you disagree with that interpretation, explain what you think he meant.

You are putting words in his mouth.

I can disagree with your interpretation without providing an interpretation of my own.

No, I’m literally just quoting him. His words are clear: “You cannot have a country where the American people keep on electing immigration enforcement and the courts tell the American people they’re not allowed to have what they voted for.”

You can’t provide an alternative interpretation because his words are clear and you’re not that creative.

I can. Recently we have federal judges issuing nationwide injunctions against deporting anyone. We have federal judges hiding illegals in their homes. He have federal judges helping illegals escape being arrested.

The federal government has state governors and local mayors working against the federal government and hiding illegals.
Vances statement is that the voters in the last election voted for the border to be sealed and for those here illegally to be deported. And that courts should not be standing in the way of the federal government doing their job.

I can but I won’t. It is a choice I’m making.

and 100% of the cases they dont take are not.

Sure

I have no problem with any of this except your last sentence. The role of the judiciary is not to stand in the way of the government nor get out of the way depending on election results. Their role is to consistently adjudicate the law across administrations and elections.

Next Democratic VP: “You cannot have a country where the American people keep on electing open borders/universal healthcare/Black reparations and the courts tell the American people they’re not allowed to have what they voted for.”

They will likely take the high-profile cases denying Trump the ability to govern. Those are really the only ones that matter.

Aren’t you making a choice? Why wouldn’t you afford me that same opportunity?

okay and. you think they will allow the citizenship EO to stand as written by POTUS?

No. Vance’s word are clear and spoken plainly. If you’re going to claim that he didn’t say what he obviously said, then provide an alternate explanation. Otherwise it’s just the same old trolling.

So, I can either agree with you, or I can accede to your wishes. Otherwise, I’m just a troll.

Haven’t a clue how SCOTUS would rule.

No, you can explain why you think Vance said something other than what he obviously said. You spoke up to say my interpretation of his plain words was incorrect, so you must have an opinion about what he really meant. Enlighten us. If you’re going to post this

and then refuse to explain why he didn’t say what he said, then yes, it’s just more trolling. But your predicament is obvious. Vance spoke in plain English and left little room for interpretation, and you can’t come up with a reasonable alternative explanation. So more gifs, more drive-by posts, more deflections.

Obviously, this has become your new crusade. A diversion from the topic to allow you to bloviate.
