Our annual electric bill is close to zero, thanks to solar panels, and that includes cranking all the AC we want. Why wouldn’t we want to switch to heat pump technology? It isn’t anything new or untested.

Precisely…nice that I don’t have to rely on electric when power is out.
And propane is less than half the cost…also our electric is cheaper than most parts of country because of all the dams.
