What cities are going to burn down over this one?

That’s an accurate synopsis of this situation being used to further perpetuate hate, division and racism while also being the result of the leftist narrative of racism being perpetuated in our media.

He says right there in your quote that he was scared because he saw guns drawn. I’d be scared too, especially if I know I didn’t do anything wrong.

There is also no way to know that if he had just pulled over he would be fine.

Yep, me too. Cops should be made to play by the same rules as you and me regarding brandishing guns. But it was him listening to the message planted in his head by your ilk, rather than to his mother that caused him to flee. It was the fact that he fled that caused the situation to go from a simple traffic stop to one where assistance was called including the k-9 unit.

You are right, but there are thousands of routine traffic stops every day in which nobody gets shot. In fact, the number of instances per year, where an innocent driver whether they are black, white, yellow or brown, is shot by the cops, can be counted on one hand. It is the fear that your ilk perpetuates that causes young black men to do these foolish things.

If this guy was in fear of his life, why did he run? I know if i saw police with their guns drawn at me, i am listening to what they want me to do. I am not risking getting shot trying to run. Second that makes it look like you are hiding something and your guilty.

How do you know?

And likely just as many where the driver doesn’t comply to 100% of every command.

After he complied, they put the dog on him.

I did read that part that was certainly wrong and it sounds like the officer was fired.

If a person throws a rock off an overpass and hits a car he can be accused of acting in reckless disregard for life

Was the officer that was fired acting recklessly?

What the difference between Michael Byrd and the guy who got fired?

Because he said so …

"Looking in his rearview mirror, he saw responding police officers “had guns pointed at me, so I didn’t feel safe at all.

"He then called 911 to ask what he should do. “I was just trying to figure out if they could help me,” he said. “I was scared, i didn’t understand why they had guns pointed at me, I didn’t know the reason for them pulling me over at the time.

Rose, still on the phone with 911, said he drove back on the highway, continuing what became a three-county pursuit.

Not even close. Thousands of traffic stops and citations issued per day; tens of shootings of unarmed non-compliant arrestees per year.

Not they … one officer … against the verbal demands of the other officers.

No need to be fearful of other’s ignorance. If they mislabel you because you’re nuanced that is on them.

One bad officer is not a they. He was even commanded multiple times not to release the dog, once by radio.

CNN chose to leave out several things to give a narrative this is just another poor helpless African American attacked by the police for no reason

Then his fear was valid?

Rose was treated for dog bites at a hospital and didn’t need stitches, he told CNN. He’s seeing a psychologist to help process that day.

He has been charged with failure to comply, a felony.

Rose was also terminated by Western Express, the trucking company, on the day of his arrest, according to Crump.

I was more on his side until the persecution of black people was introduced into the narrative. (sigh) of course, we had to know that was coming but I was hoping for a bit more focus on the wrong-doing of the officer who released the dog, not the color of his skin.

Thanks to the J’Biden Southern border “policy”, the inept maroon known as the “border czar and the buffoon Mayorkas tractor trailers loaded with smuggled illegal invaders are routinely pulled up by LEOs.
When the driver refused to stop, why wouldn’t the police suspect anything?
Not blaming the driver for the outcome the K-9 handler was completely wrong. But this was a DOT stop for a mud flap! C’mon man, granted the driver was young but a mud flap? How stupid and how in the ■■■■ did he get a CDL license?

I was wondering that myself.

Except he did do wrong.

The dog thing is definitely stupid, and he’ll get paid.

But…

He is the reason guns were pulled. I’m sure there was no gun involved when he was originally lit up for the mud flap, only after he fled.

Just can’t go a post without bringing up President Biden, whose policies have nothing to do with this incident.
