Let me give you just a couple quotes from 2 of our founding fathers:

Just because we can still vote doesn’t mean that we can’t vote ourselves into a corrupt, impoverished 3rd world nation. But hey, at least our beloved leaders will still get to live like kings, er, I mean Representatives of our beloved Republic. Because after all, we don’t have kings in our Republic do we?

The GOP couldn’t capture the independents, as was pointed out earlier.
The GOP a should stop and think what it is they stood for that turned independents off.

That’s no where even remotely true no matter who won this election. 40 year high inflation, massive levels of debt, deficits as far as the eye can see, millions of the worlds impoverished citizens flowing into the country virtually unchecked, rising levels of crime, children born to single moms at all time highs, many overcrowded communities, water shortages, high costs of living, homelessness, drug overdoses, etc., etc., etc.

Trump’s insurrection was a game changer for me. I’ve got a strong feeling I’m not alone, as we are beginning to see with the mid-term results.
Reporter to POTUS…“Mr President, 75% of people say that the country is going in the wrong direction”. Question…“What will you be doing over the next two years to try and turn that around?”
Answer…“Nothing…they just don’t know about what we’re doing.”

7-12 seat majority isn’t bad. Majority is a majority.
Plus, with the likes of Boebert gone, McCarthy with have less drama on his right flank to deal with. Not the worst thing in the world, either.
It is surprising that they did as good as they did with Biden’s approval and the economy/inflation and even the majority of democrats don’t want Biden to run in 2024. Guess what after last night he will definitely run again.
Other than that I am surprised a man who can’t form a sentence because of a stroke was elected to the senate, I guess the country wants more pain on the energy sector. There even are burning trash to stay warm in Poland should be and interesting winter overall.
