I was reading some of the analysis, and for the first time in the history of our elections, the mid-terms didn’t heavily favor the party out of power. What should have been a red wave was muted, despite many reasons to vote against the party in power.
I put the blame squarely on Trump. I’m hoping against hope that gives him pause about running in 2024. But my gut tells me that he will jump in with both feet, even if it results in further erosion of the GOP.
