Were there any surprises at all? The takeaways from the election results

I mean, he either endorsed them or not. The details really don’t matter.

I could have endorsed them. That doesn’t mean I would claim responsibility for their wins. Now if he is congratulating himself for their winning, that doesn’t look good. If he is just congratulating them, fine. They don’t owe him for that. Like I said, my statement didn’t have anything to do with that tweet, or whatever it was. I was just saying it was no longer credible to ride some red wave that didn’t happen to support his influence in the party. I.e. his warning DeSantis not to run. That doesn’t hold water any more imo.,

I’m seeing the desire for DeSantis to replace Trump. As long as we get an Executive with policies worth a ■■■■ , I’ll gladly vote for either one.

Trump endorsements did fine in red states.

In swing states his influence was minimal. Trump did not help the PA candidates at all. Does not bode well for a 2024 run. Want it to be otherwise. The propaganda against him and his own ego are a problem even with the cold and starving workers he champions.

Biden so completely failed with a house majority that a more experienced and savvy Trump could have regained his popularity.

Now Biden will be gridlocked…thank goodness…and he won’t appear as inept in 2024. Trump loses his chance for redemption. We get a 2nd term for Brandon Harris. Bitter political medicine.

I would certainly vote for Trump over Biden. He did what he could as President. I am just saying Imo DeSantis has a better chance. I don’t think Trump has the influence some thought as far as getting elected.

My preference would be a real grass roots push for Desantis now.

I still like Trump. He just cannot win another national election.

Well that is what I was saying but a lot shorter.

I’d say you’re definitely right about DeSantis being a better choice, but I’m not convinced about a more effective choice.

I’ve known of Trump all my life. I’ve known of DeSantis for 4 whole years. He sounds great, and I’ll be happy to have him as President if his extremely short-lived political career is any indication of how he would govern the nation.

Look at the number of mail in PA votes and the timing of the Fetterman-Oz debate.
If that debate took place prior to the start of mail in voting?
There is likely a lot of “buyers remorse” in PA today.
The Oz has “dual citizenship” J’Biden & Obama horse manure endorsements and Oprah’s stamp of hypocritical approval helped drag Senator elect Incoherentman across the finish line. That and a historical amount of Dimbulbcrat money spent on this Senate seat. Chuckie Schumer is salivating at the ways he’ll be abusing Festerman’s lack of cognitive abilities. Joe Manchin and Fetterman will get along just fine too I’ll bet.
Embrace the suck!

I’d be very curious to know what the percentage was between voting D or R and voting in person on election day and mail in voting?

I’ve long been saying America is doomed. The best that could have been achieved was a slight delay in our inevitable destruction. Even if the results end up being that Republicans take the house AND the Senate, the governors races were as, if not more critical. The governors are the ones who will continue to promote crime, illegal immigration and the steady flow of drugs across our border via their states. Governors are the ones who decide that Wokism and CRT crap will be forced upon kids against parents wishes. Governors are the ones promoting the mutilation of children’s genitals and the persecution and arrest of parents who protest anything the left is doing in schools. Radical Governors in cooperation with the Radical left idiots in control of the White House will be the biggest hindrance to any possible revival of America and our status as a world super power.

A Republican controlled House and Senate can hobble TJ, but any good that they do, either by such hobbling of TJ or outright getting good legislation passed in the next two years will be credited to TJ and set the stage for a Democrat to win the White House in 24…

If the last two years of Democrat insanity hasn’t opened the eyes of the voters, we’ve obviously become too stupid to vote anyway. We really deserve the misery that’s yet to come.

R.I.P. AMERICA 1776-2020…

What do you reckon the 1920’s looked like? Seen the economy lately?

I’m surprised that Boebert looks like she is going down. Not on my radar at all.

There are some parallels, but consider that the country responded to the 1920s by electing FDR, who dragged the depression all the way through the 30s. Just look at all the great things FDR did like literally stealing all privately held gold from the citizens and giving us the greatest ponzi scheme in history and calling it social SECURITY. He was a great Leftist following in the footsteps of other Leftist giants like Woodrow Wilson…

People forget that the first amendment passed after FDR died limits all future presidential terms to two. Wonder why ?:thinking::thinking:

Yeah. Buckle up and stock up. We haven’t learned from history either.

Hold on to your butts. The 20’s will go out with a Roar.

Of course it wasn’t, 538 gave her opponent a 3% chance of winning.

Any surprises?

What with the “can’t wait till midterms” and all.

It took a world war to bring us out of the last depression… We really can’t afford a repeat of that time in history, but here we are.

Stupid, stupid sheep…

The governorship wins were surprising. Outside of President Desantis of course.
