Four contentious nominations went through the Senate Judiciary Committee, including Wendy Vitter, They now go to the full Senate for consideration. Two non-controversial nominations went through on voice vote.
I continue to oppose Wendy Vitter, but solely due to her lack of qualifying legal experience, not because of the Brown v Board fiasco.
Additionally, the Senator McConnell has tee’d three District Judge nominees up for final confirmation the first week of June, the Senate being in recess next week for Memorial Day.
