Ten presidents over many decades have made zero progress. Maybe it takes a buffoon like Trump to open the door. Three “summits” are only a starting point and 99 percent of any negotiations that may or may not happen in the future will not be handled by Trump.

I would expect you to know more about that than me. High level officials will have had dozens of meetings before the president meets with him again for another hour or two. The president says what he wants and they try to make it doable or at least determine if it is.
