Christmas music may take mental toll, psychologist says
Feel like a Grinch because you hate Christmas music? You may be on to something, one psychologist says
There can be no competition with the one true religion that is Liberalanity.
The only people propagating a war on Christians is Christians. The Christian Right is morally bankrupt. Stop being a victim and hold your Christian leadership accountable.
Maybe Christians can start with their religious leaders who support and defend a serial adulterer who hates poor people.
Christians aren’t victims, they’re the source of the problem.
I didn’t say anything about victims, but thanks. Now, back to The Purge.
I’m merely an observer. I dont claim to be Christian. I found it eye opening on a December trip to Taipei a few years ago to hear more Christmas music at a public mall in that predominantly Buddhist or Taoist nation than what is allowed by the left here in the US now.
Everyone should take a walk through a national cemetery and then come tell me that Christians are the problem.
Lol christmas specials are always all the rage here.
Why do Christians want to be associated with a song about rape?
You would NOT be surprised at the grief Charles M. Schulz got for using kids and having such a strong Christian theme in a Charlie Brown Christmas.
Schulz was not a church attending man, but a religious historian and supporter.
Every collaborator and the first two CBS executives INSISTED he tone down the religion.
Schulz needed and got the head CBS executive to agree to air the special in full and unedited in 1963. The result was a FLOOD of supportive phone calls and letters and a 50% share in viewership that solidified teh special as an annual tradition.
Story is available in the Schulz biography by Michaelis.
Yep their the problem.
As someone who both loves Christmas and really likes that song…
They kinda have a point. That song really is rapey in the modern contexts of Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein and Brett and PJ and sniff Squi…
I have not heard that it is a Christian issue.
Christmas is not mentioned in the song. It could be sung in a wintry country whose people never heard of christmas.
It’s more an issue of absurd political correctness and the left’s assumption that women are too weak to know what they want to do. The left likes weak women because the left needs people to feel like victims.
I don’t remember ever hearing this song or watching this movie and definitely do not associate it with Christmas.
I would agree that the scene where this song is being sung is sexual harassment on display of which I’ve never practiced nor condoned.
The song is literally about a woman saying no and the man continuing to try and force himself on her, and even suggests he drugged her drink.
Can you see why that_ might_ be considered offensive?
How have “the left” prevented music being playied at public malls in America?
The lyrics contain no evidence of force.
Not all rape required force.
Bill Cosby never forced himself on his victims. They fell asleep around him for some reason. Not his fault.
Exactly Cali…

Christmas is right around the corner, meaning that the time has come for the usual passel of lawsuits and threats of lawsuits.
And even if they win a court battle, no store wants the threat of lawsuits from the Christmas haters such as these people.
