"We Ain't Buying It"

The same way Dixie chicks or keurig didnt undermine anything

I would prefer Home Depot to Target myself.

Never went there much even before they were controversial.

Yeah but sales of Bud Extra Light (AKA Michelob Ultra) have increased dramatically. Same pocket.

I’m over 20 miles away from the nearest Walmart, and about 8 miles from the nearest gas station.

I can buy things online at Walmart, and they’ll drive it out to my house within 3 hours.

I won’t miss the delivery trucks with random weirdos who can’t seem to look at Google Maps. I do like seeing local faces whom I recognize though.

Get a red card at Target and get free shipping of products with no dollar limit, often same day or next day.

Problem are the choices available. You can pretty much the same stuff form walmart that you can on amazon. They are basically creating an entirely separate online presence and using their own stores as warehouses. How smart is that

Which just proves that bud light’s usual customers, dumb rednecks, don’t know anything about the company that makes that piss.

I go to Target to avoid the junkies and other undesirables at Wal-Mart. The last time I went to Wal-Mart I witnessed a 300+ pound adult female say to her elderly mother “You promised you was gonna get me Oreos you bitch!” Adios Wal-Mart.

A friend of mine moved from my area based on similar logic. I never understood that

The logic of trying to avoid people like that?

We live in wild times. Tap out an order from your phone for some good made 1/2 way around the world; have it arrive at your door within hours.

It’s even awesomerer that they do this because good luck getting a pizza delivered way out here.

Target is static because people are value shopping due to higher costs, thus Walmart/Amazon/Costco gains. Personally only stop to buy at Target if they have a sale item in need to stock up on.

Ye. It’s just people.

Or stay in and buy something.

It’s destined to be the next Sears or K-Mart.

In my opinion, it’s gonna take a miracle for it to survive.

Last time I went to Target was a couple of years ago to buy a particular type of potato masher that someone had. Couldn’t find it at WalMart (or online, except at Target online.) It’s beautifully ergonomic.

It’s more available now. Amazon carries it, and cheaper.

I have heard that when there is a run on some particular item (think: Tickle-me Elmo) you might still find it at Target because of the lower shopping demand there.

its a nicer place to shop: better lighting, wider aisles. My Walmart even has the annoying receipt checker. But price is the bottom line.

I sense that Target is more likely to have higher prices, and that some people want/need the cheapest that they can get. That also likely ties in with Liberty’s impression of the people you are more likely to run across in each store. It may include a bit of snobbishness but that’s also a reason why I usually but not always prefer Target.
As far as buying online, I will often check out Target and Walmart and possibly Amazon and buy from the one that has closest to what I want. Both Target and Walmart have more online than in stores. If they have it in their store, Im less than a mile for either.
As far as the stock, I have some of each and Walmart has so far been the better buy.
And those trans clothes have long disappeared from our local store.
