WAR in Ukraine, Putin approves initiation of special military operation (Part 2)

waterboy logic

yep, Russia tried to join, but they wanted special treatment. If NATO were expansionist they’d have let them. Big.big big expansion. all the way to the pacific

Amazing.

pfft… I could care less about what anyone says about it. Facts are what they are. to date, less than 30B delivered, the rest is promises

isn’t that what expansionists do… expand? If expansion was the plan, why’d they say no to Russia?

You fee fee you know more about it than The Ukranian George Washington?

Think.

The whole …we won’t be involved in anything anywhere unless the territorial US is actually being attacked …is profoundly silly.

And obviously not real. Y’all have a line.

you fee fee different math?

Why is it silly? Shouldn’t we be more like the Nordic countries?

about what. if NATO is expansionist they had the opportunity for a grand expansion… yet turned it down.

here are the facts. any european nation can apply for membership. after applying they have to meet certain criterea, then they may get an accession vote which is not guarenteed and must be unanimous. they don’t come after you, you come to them. pretty piss poor formulae for expansionism.

About the history of NATO, but more importantly, the EU.

Because you’ll change your mind when you want. It will be in the “American interest” to intervene.

the eu is expansionist. I have no love for it. in time, it will be our greatest enemy.

Sure. What interest does “America” have in Ukraine?

NATO is the military arm of the EU. If Ukraine ends up the way you want it to, it will immediately join both and you will applaud like a circus seal.

Ok thanks. Later

Why are you evading the question?

By that logic, Confederates bravely fought for “their” survival in the Civil War, and Germans fought for “their” survival in WW1 and WW2.

Survival of a government is not the same as the survival of its citizens.
