Voter ID in California?

That’s true but it’s not the point I’m making. If you want only property owners to vote on property taxes, then you have to take the power of taxation away from politicians and give it back to people in a direct vote. Banning people who don’t own land from voting takes away their representation in all areas, not just property taxes.

I sure would like to meet a person who doesn’t have an ID, especially under the pretense of I CAN’T AFFORD ONE. What utter crap. You can’t function in society without one. Anyone know a landlord who will rent someone a house if they have no ID? Forget buying a house. Rent a car? Get a hotel room? Cash a check? Open a bank account? Get a prescription filled? And let’s not forget OBTAINING OUR VICES!! I’ve yet to meet a person who won’t get an ID to buy their cigarettes and alcohol, many people are willing to pay big bucks to get a fake ID for just such a purpose. If Americans are literally too lazy and apathetic to get an ID so they can partake of the most important right we have, then they’re probably too stupid and uninformed to vote anyway. No loss to the country. Keep your dumb ass at home throughout election season. Of course you probably don’t have a home because you can’t get one without being able to provide ID, unless you’re some 35 year old Lib still living in mommies basement.

Enough with the ■■■■■■■■ that a photo ID disenfranchises anyone from voting. It disenfranchises Democrats from cheating, that’s why they oppose it. By absolute sheer coincidence, many blue states are providing free IDs to illegals, and of course Libs pinky swear no illegal would use that to cast and illegal vote. Yeah right!

Not necessary true. Some places I have lived you voted on property tax charged by county or city such as schools. It is a direct property tax. It is a basis on top of the tax set by the reps.

You voted for the amount of increase or decrease? That’s interesting

Here are some property tax that were voted on this term. I am surprised people don’t vote on bonds that are attached to property taxes for schools ect.

Interesting, thanks.

there needs to be a law that states that for federal elections, some ID is required…

not a poll tax or anything like that but a freely obtained photo ID that is possibly tied to one’s SSN

My mom doesn’t drive and keeps getting state ID cards for like $12 that last 4 years.

Again its not the cost. They could be 1c and i would still object.

Its the principle of putting a monetary amount on getting the ID that is required to vote.

I disagree with the judge’s ruling.

Yet you’re fine with me having to spend over $100 to get a permit to exercise a right?

We have it over a threshold.

And then police will…

Well, if it’s one they don’t particularly like, it’s different.

Oh, look dems are suddenly winning in Cal’s contested house seats. They just keep counting until they win…

After watching the dems complained about non-college educated people voting for Trump, I thought they might start wanting a voter test…lol!
