I would say that if pols in the USA tried to implement Macronic Global Warming Taxes, the “riots” and “bloodbaths” would occur at the ballot box in the next election.
What’s going over in France is fly over country is pissed off at their own left-wing elites. They’re tired of snobs using the poor and immigrants against the working class. Those that want to enjoy a certain lifestyle is being punished by French elites to line their own pockets.
