Vice President Mike Pence threw the full support of the White House behind the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency this week; saying the Trump administration is “is with you 100 percent."
Pence was speaking at ICE headquarters Friday when he called-out liberal legislators’ growing demands to out-right abolish the federal agency; hailing the agents as “brave heroes” who help protect the nation’s borders.
“While I stand before you today at a time when some people are actually calling for the abolition of ICE, in this White House let me be clear we are with you 100 percent," said the Vice President. "And as the president said last night we will always stand proudly with the brave heroes of ICE and Border Patrol.”
“Calls to abolish ICE are an insult to these heroic law enforcement officers who make sacrifices every day to secure our borders, enforce our laws, and protect our safety and security,” added a White House press release.
