My 401K did great. Stocks did great. I got solid raises. 2008-2016 was good for me. No dark times.

The Valley of the Sun holds nearly 5 million people whether the big crowd attended or watched on TV.

True, in that the Torrijos-Carter Treaties of the late 1970’s set the stage for Noriega Moreno to rise to power in becoming the De facto ruler of Panama for bulk of the 1980’s. President Carter could of been spared a lot of embarrassment if he acted back then. This militia guy was bad news with rumblings of weapon crimes being widespread. In 1989, most people of Panama probably were also thankful when George H.W. Bush put the order out to capture Morena who subsequently served 17 of the 40 years in a U.S. jail.
