Utah group says medical marijuana ballot violates freedom of religion

It’s a “script mill” for some doctors. Lucrative. Easy. Some of the “examinations” are mere questionnaires done totally over the internet. In Colorado more than 90% of the MMJ cards are for “pain” or “severe pain”. The largest Colorado demographic of MMJ holders are males aged 18-30. Doctors charge about $50-100 to give the prescription. In Colorado (where recreational use is legal) it’s still worth getting the card because it gets you a discount on the taxes charged for pot. A moderate user easily get his $50 back in savings.

Regarding drug testing, in some hospitals upward of 50% of babies born test positive for THC.

Off topic for this thread, but pertinent to your statement, I’m still flabbergasted by the requirement that any road work at all requires a police officer on site. Even if the street department is going to empty out a storm drain. Cop has to be there. Overtime costs to man those details are legendary.

In Colorado, traffic cones are far cheaper than a cop sitting in his cruiser sipping coffee.
