They can just cut that amount from the next funding. Same difference.

Thatâs not true. It is still legislation that requires the senate to pass it and it is subject to veto.

None of itâs forced. Itâs about compromises in conference. Moreover, one of McCarthyâs concessions is to consider 12 separate appropriation bills rather than an omnibus bill, making a shut down less likely. More likely is the affected department frozen with a continuing resolution.
Nobody was talking about âforcingâ. Itâs about jow many Republicans are out there saying and thinking well it passed the House itâs law now and sheâs far from the only one saying i, or believing it from what I see.
This is all performative, pro wrestling for people who watch pro wrestling.
