Tulsi, while I admire her accomplishments, some of her views such as those on healthcare and abortion are pretty liberal, which is a deal-breaker for me. It concerns me that people are calling her libertarian, which I can only see in her financial/economic (not really economic because of her position on corporations). Part of why I think she is being described as Libertarian is because the LP has been hijacked by statists, especially by liberal statists. It’s where the majority of the party is going based on populism, not on principles. Gary Johnson invited a whole host of issues into the party. But they are accepting it because Gary has money, and they need the money to get the LP recognized.
Also, how do we know she will not be hijacked by the more radical wing of her party? Surely there must be more reasons why she chose to run as a Democrat.
