Trust the experts

BIG GOVERNMENT DOES NOTHING. Come on man, President Trump should get some credit for getting ventilators, vaccines, and a hell of lot of other things that “experts” said were not possible.

we can agree to agree and sometimes agree to disagree. At the end of the day, we can all be friends here. Good night, Sir.

Peter we should not user the title “EXPERT” liberally. It is bad for one’s mental health.

True titles are like Mrs Dash ™ You know the salt -free alternative for spicing up your favorite meals. Each blend, seasoning packet or marinade contains a multitude of spices, allowing your palate to enjoy the flavor without the salt . Eating healthy meals doesn’t mean skipping out on taste.

You just brought up something else the experts got wrong. Nothing wrong with a little salt in your diet.

Can Low-salt Diets Cause Hypertension, Cardiovascular Events, and Other Unintended Consequences?

In the last 4 to 5 decades, patients with hypertension were given advice to cut down their intake of salt and increase exercise. Yet these recommendations are contradictory, because exercise or physical work (particularly when done in a warm or hot environment) on a low-salt diet causes a 10-fold increased risk of heat exhaustion and prostration (characterized by nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, hypotension, vertigo, dehydration, and collapse).

36 Moreover, following the advice to consume <2300 mg of sodium per day can lead to negative sodium balance, as well as negative calcium and magnesium balance.

37 Thus, low-salt diets may predispose to calcium and magnesium deficiency and all the negative consequences that come with it (including osteoporosis, hypertension, cardiovascular events, arrhythmias, coronary vasospasm, sudden death, and more). Furthermore, recent studies suggest that sugar, not salt, is the likely dietary culprit causing hypertension.

It’s right there in the title: “Goes unchecked”. Meaning if we did NOTHING the numbers could’ve been that high. We did actually do SOMETHING by wearing masks, socially distancing, washing hands, etc. Even just halfassing like we did we’ve kept the deaths <600k so far.

We have determined that he did not.

That isn’t accurate. Michael Weiner has no training in epidemiology, his PhD is in “nutritional ethnomedicine”. He’s not fit to carry Fauci’s jock on the subject.

In reality, every single major technological advancement that we think miracled itself into existence from the Free Market Fairies is the result of state sponsored research.

It makes sense if you think about it a bit. Businesses don’t do well at pure research, there has to be some money to be made by the next quarter.

Lol except the instantaneous global communication network you’re currently saying they did nothing on, among others.

This is, incidentally, why the Japanese were eating our lunch in the tech sector for like two decades.

I bring stuff up all The time. Thank me very much, Zantax. Happy Tuesday.

Peter.

Faucci is no longer fit to carry his own jock on any topic.

Wonder what our so called experts like Fauci think about infected illegals pouring across the border?

Probably been ordered not to mention it. Never mind.

You do not have a clue why Japan has been so successfully in technology. They have the highest work ethics, the culture of Japan has a lot to do with it, japanese people work together for the common good, etc, etc.

Ya, that we need is more censorship and fake news like the Russian dossier and tear down the border wall.

Who is we?

Members of the forum.

We can agree he was into nutition and did go to Berkeley. Did he take any classes in epidemiology?

He doesn’t have a PhD in epidemiology.

Well I could be wrong about that one, but he is a bright guy who can chew gum and walk at the same time and understands how viruses spread.

I have neither a degree in nutrition nor amedicine but I understand.
