Forget the warrant. It is the scheming behind the warrant that needs to come out. Using the FBI against Biden’s top political opponent is more important than some FBI policy Garland can change at will.
And Congress is not compelled to accept Garlands policies as an excuse.

Yeah- the GSA just randomly grabs papers and stuff and packs them up when a President departs the White House. There’s no plan or checklist or anything.
Because raiding the residency of the chief political opponent of the head of the executive branch needs to be explained. If Trump had the FBI raid Biden’s house before the election, looking for evidence on Hunter, you would likely understand.
The “scheming” is the legal process that was used to obtain the warrant.
If we could see the warrant we could see what they were looking for.
Only one party can show us the warrant.
The warrant would say we are looking for documents and have told a judge we have probable cause. Overused red herring.

The election is over two years out and he hasn’t even announced.
It would also State the nature of the documents.
The warrant will also say (very specifically) which documents are being sought, and where they are.

You are correct, it will not. That is the sort of information that won’t be released until the investigation is completed, for obvious reasons.
I have a point anyway. Everybody knows he is running and will secure the nomination. “I think a lot of people will be happy with my decision”. And the polls show he will be nominated.

And FBI policy does not override the law if he is subpoenaed.
