If he’s subpoenaed tomorrow, he’ll says “I can’t comment on open investigations” when asked, and there isn’t really anything Congress can do about it.

Understood, that was in my original post.

They can subpoena him, though this won’t happen until January when Republicans take the House. Probably they cannot do,to him what he did to Bannon…but then he will rely on the House for funding.

I am fairly confident that by the time January comes around, we’ll already know a lot more about the basis for this warrant, and what (if anything) it will lead to.

There’s more than just “getting them in the archives” - it’s a matter of retrieving sensitive national security information from someone who’s shown himself to be a serious security risk. Unauthorized disclosure is a grave risk to national security.

My guess is they weren’t marked as such, as they’re required to be.

Glad to see the GOP getting on the Defund the Police Bandwagon.

I’m just thrilled to see a member of the Party of Personal Responsibility once again blaming someone other than Donald Trump for taking those documents away from the White House.

Who quite possibly has committed crimes

You all have been playing that possibly “committed crimes” spiel to excuse weaponizing the government against one political party for nearly six years now.

Lock her up!

And you all have been hiding from the potential criminality of your king for the same amount of time. It’s true: you think the laws should not apply to you and yours, obly me and mine

So much for the Why doesn’t Trump make it public talking point.

“Trump’s legal team seeking court order forcing FBI, DOJ to hand over physical copy of search warrant”

Where are you getting this quote from?

It is quite interesting how many times we have been getting unsourced quotes like this.

Almost as if the poster knows the source from which they got the quotes are unreliable.

Maybe this time will be different…

Scroll down it is a separate article, you might have to hit the read more link

It is quite interesting how consistently you are wrong.

“A source” and it’s lumped with the affidavit (which is allowed to be sealed) and the inventory list (I don’t know the rules on this one).

Not evidence they don’t have a copy of the warrant.

In the NY Post, “a source” close to Trump said, when asked if they would turn over a copy of the warrant, said “No we won’t “…implying they had a copy.

So, this part?

A source tells Fox News that former President Trump and his legal team will likely seek a court order to force the FBI and the Justice Department to turn over a physical copy of the search warrant, the affidavit, and a complete inventory of what was taken in the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Sounds very reliable.

Actually it is consistent with a former AG saying he had on numerous occasions kept the Warrent private at first. I had posted it numerous times his statement.
