Trump says he is likely to be criminally indicted over the January 6 event

I have worked on resettling 20 or so recent refugees arrived from South America. They would all reject your comparison in a heartbeat. Hsve you ever talked to a refugee from Venezuela or do you just presume you can speak for them?

CNN is reporting that Jack Smith essentially did a paste and copy job of the Liz Cheyney co-led standing committee report findings here with this latest indictment. Makes this Special Counselor look purely like another henchman of the DNC don’t you think?

Most non partisan lawyers are saying this opens the door for any politician to be prosecuted for relying on false information to contest an election, well let’s que up the Hillary and Al Gore indictments. This case will be thrown out, the first one has a fighting chance. Russia cost Hillary the election as much as voting machines cost trump his. If Hillary isn’t indicted over the dossier then Trumps not indicted over this.

They still broke the law to get here it doesn’t matter how they feel, their actions speak for them. It’s so bad now that Eric Adams wants the border secure and a temporary pause on immigrants being granted amnesty.

Both Trump and Biden aren’t fit for office! My entire family is writing in RFK or someone of their choice if Biden or Trump is the nominee! Most hate them equally right now, Biden was literally pushed as a candidate who was an above water candidate who had zero corruption in his life! Not only does he have corruption the DOJ is actively covering it up.

According to Devon Archer their job was selling access, you better pray to God his testimony to the oversight committee wasn’t the same as his interview with Carlson, especially since willfully lying to change an outcome of an election is now prosecutable according to Jack Smith.

That would explain why both the committee and the indictment included Trump’s speech and both left out the part about “peaceful and patriotic”.
That is giving Smith the benefit of the doubt.

Lol I don’t know how Tucker Carlson got it, but he received a letter and showed Archer in an interview a hand written legal note when VP saying he was sorry he missed Archer at the WH, and was happy that he and Hunter are together. LOL Archer said that the letter was in reference to Joe congratulating him for helping Hunter start a DC lobbying firm, Joe was in on it the whole time, the interview is powerful and disregarded and shot holes through the Goldman statements.

In retrospect being too close to the sun will burn you!

uh oh….

i guess it’s time for another trump indictment

I hope he is embarrassed. Lindsey was booed in his HOME STATE, SC when he spoke at a Trump rally.

A judge in Pennsylvania determined that former President Trump cannot be sued by an election official over statements he made casting suspicion on the 2020 election results during his presidency, due to the protection provided by presidential immunity.

“Today, the Court made it clear that it is well within the President’s discretion to address the integrity of our election without fear of liability, . . . . . . "

Special Counsel Jack Smith has indicted former President Donald Trump for his constitutionally protected speech and election challenges ahead of the events leading to the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. Woah Jack!

Let me refresh your memory on what Al Gore did after he exhausted his legal recount options.

Just moments ago, I spoke with George W. Bush and congratulated him on becoming the 43rd president of the United States. And I promised him that I wouldn’t call him back this time. I offered to meet with him as soon as possible so that we can start to heal the divisions of the campaign and the contest through which we’ve just passed.

Almost a century and a half ago, Senator Stephen Douglas told Abraham Lincoln, who had just defeated him for the presidency, “Partisan feeling must yield to patriotism. I’m with you, Mr. President, and God bless you.” Well, in that same spirit, I say to President-elect Bush that what remains of partisan rancor must now be put aside, and may God bless his stewardship of this country. Neither he nor I anticipated this long and difficult road. Certainly neither of us wanted it to happen. Yet it came, and now it has ended, resolved, as it must be resolved, through the honored institutions of our democracy.

That was a really classy move right there. Let’s contrast that with how your hero Trump has acted after losing 60 court cases claiming voter fraud and continues to this day.

Barking up the wrong tree. Between the Comey letter and Hillary running a horrible campaign, I knew she was going to lose.

If it means keeping Trump out of the whitehouse, you betcha I’ll vote for Biden. Trump is a threat to our democracy as evidenced by his criminal indictments.

Everything is just like everything else. :joy:

You guys opining on legal matters is like me opining on engineering

So what is this? His second indictment or third? Third, right? Once Georgia indicts him he’ll have hit for the cycle.

CNN and MSNBC are the legal experts. Hang with them.

Graham is out here shredding the very last of his dignity and self respect defending Trump and threatening potential civil war every time a reporter asks him about it and you guys don’t even care. Why would any sane politician want to be a Republican anymore.

No they are not. Neither is anyone who thinks that a state civil court decision has anything to do with a federal criminal indictment.

The stupid that permeates an idea that a president is immune to criminal prosecutions for alleged criminal acts while in office is pretty astounding though.
