I replied because I find it silly to praise Trump for the stock market when the same poster did not do so for Obama.
Presidents, justifiably or not, get a lot of credit or blame for the economy and the stock market.
The details end up being arguments/excuses about causation, which never go anywhere.
I said contribute, not cause.
Contribute implies causation. Obviously there could be many causes. All would contribute.
