If the house wanted to pass wall legislation they would no matter how the senate votes.

I think that was a ham-handed power move on his part to diminish Pelosi (you’re not important; the issue is the Senate). We’ll see how all the dumb dominance rituals work out for him next year.

yes- Pelosi and Schumer got him to say he would take all responsibility for a shutdown, and also got the name ‘Trump Shutdown’ out there. Excellent!
