President Trump confirmed Wednesday that has administration is working with their Israeli counterparts and expect to have a revised Middle East peace plan within the next “two to four months.”

Trump was speaking alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York City during United Nations week when he weighed-in on the 70-year old conflict.

“I really believe something will happen. It is a dream of mine to be able to get that done prior to the end of my first term," Trump said. “I like two-state solution […] That’s what I think works best.”

The President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has been working behind-the-scenes for months on the stalled peace talks between Israeli officials and Palestinian negotiators.

Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman has been a major influence in the process, admitting “Israelis have the right to their own land” in a shocking interview.
