Trump approval rating 2025 (january 23-march 6)

Yeah right.

I agree.

In all honesty there are people who legitimately need a hand. But there are also those who game the system. I think the gamers vastly outnumber the legitimate.

Such as illegals getting benefits. Any benefits.

Cant tell you how many times been behind someone in the checkout and watch them pay for groceries with SNAP or whatever it is, then pull out a wad of cash to buy their booze.

It is sort of ironic that Grok when asked who spreads the most disinformation on line replied with this. Any yes I know Grok is an aggregator of data but Musk is pushing us to trust his AI so Why not follow his advice :grinning:

Determining who spreads the most disinformation online is tricky because it depends on how you measure it—reach, frequency, impact, or intent. Based on available research and data, Elon Musk often comes up as a leading figure. With over 200 million followers on X as of 2024, his posts on topics like COVID-19 vaccines, election fraud, and climate change have racked up billions of views, often pushing unverified or misleading claims. A 2024 report noted his false election-related posts alone hit 2 billion views. The EU and outlets like Rolling Stone have flagged him for amplifying divisive narratives, leveraging his massive platform.

That said, others are in the running. Donald Trump, especially during his presidency, spread false claims on everything from COVID-19 to the 2020 election, reaching millions via social media before his X ban (later lifted). Studies, like those from the Disinformation Dozen report, also point to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a top driver of anti-vaccine misinformation, though his reach is smaller. Globally, state actors like Russia’s RT network or China’s Spamouflage push coordinated disinformation, but their impact is harder to quantify person-to-person.

Musk likely edges out due to sheer scale—his follower count and engagement dwarf most individuals. Still, no single metric crowns a definitive “most,” and the online ecosystem involves countless players, from bots to influencers, muddying the waters.

How do you know its Snap when most states if not all use a debit card system? Unless you are right on top of them, you have no idea who the card issuer is.

And who in their right mind is standing a queue and pays attention to the person in front of them, eagle eying the card they are using.

Just because someone is on food stamps does not mean they do not work or somehow worth less to society.

Meanwhile support for Democrats is collapsing:

Because they pullout cash to pay for booze…

Dems have no solutions. They don’t even talk about policy!

Again how do you know definitely they are using snap.

All this I was stood behind someone…. Is just urban legend. Like the posts we used to see on the forum that they followed someone out of a supermarket, they had used food stamps and got into a brand new SUV. Yes I am sure that by the time that the person making the claim had checked out, the “welfare scum” was still around so they could be followed and they just happened to be parked in a spot next or near to them.

Because you can see it.

I have a bad habit of paying attention to what is going on around me.

I used to gave a supervisor who was always taking a day or 2 off from work every week. When I asked him why he said didn’t want to nake too much and lose his Medi-Cal.
And the company offered healthcare.

Just one example.

Ohhh…many times.
I saw one man later load groceries into a huge new hammer truck.
My neighbor…a poster child for Medicaid abuse.

One day I saw on the news a young man died because the town didn’t have Paramedics available in time.
So I finaly broke down and told my neighbor:
“Medicaid wasted 6 trips to the hospital for you only because you overose on pills when you’re short of Marihuana. And this young vibrant man died maybe because of the same reason, no Paramedics available.”
Needles to say we don’t speak any more.
