It’s true though.
Yes, it’s true that it’s disgusting the attemot to shift away any attention whatsoever from the child abuse that is currently going on to score political points. I just want it to stop. Then we can point fingers at, investigate, and prosecute anybody that has ever committed such atrocities whether they are Republican or Democrat. But to do that now for political reason is an injustice to the children currently being abused by the state.
Those only posing to be family units are still prosecuted.
The DOJ is still having a zero-tolerance policy, but it’s the CBP that refers illegal entrants to federal courts and they will no longer send parents who arrive with children to federal courts. So, essentially those with children will not be prosecuted since they won’t be referred to court.
So are we happy now?

He didn’t make an error. The Left chose to make something out of nothing that has been done for decades. It wont work.
