GOP Rep. Trey Gowdy unloaded on Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff Thursday, slamming the leading Democrat’s handling of the Russia probe and saying he’s had “a terrible last couple of years.”
Gowdy was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to comment on Schiff’s recent rhetoric where he labeled the Republican lawmaker as one of the “four horsemen of the apocalypse” in regard to obtaining information from the DOJ regarding the Russia probe.
“Let me tell you this about Adam. Adam’s had a terrible last couple of years,” Gowdy said. “He wanted to be the attorney general under Hillary Clinton, and nobody in the country worked harder to protect her than Adam Schiff."
