Had to drive down Hwy 17 to Wilmington, NC this afternoon…What a traffic nightmare… 
Apparently an asteroid hit near Iceland on 2022.
What is most useless about it to me is what they equated it to for size. “Giraffe.”
Huh? That’s one of the most odd-shaped things they could have picked, in my opinion.
A giraffe-sized asteroid struck off the coast of Iceland last Friday, but astronomers didn’t see it coming until just before it hit — leaving many to question how safe earth would be if a larger item had made contact instead.

A mild 83 with a heat index of 92. Received about two inches of rain from TS Chantal today. No rain predicted in the forecast until next Wednesday so I will be able to cut the grass tomorrow or Tuesday.
Voyager-1 has been traveling for almost 50 years, and still it is not even one light-day away from Earth.
