Trapped and disposed of a giant racoon with 6 nipples two nights ago.
2 days without an attack or a trap.
Bought 8 Azure Blue hens today to replace my 6 lost hens. Lots of pretty blue eggs on the way.
Raccoons have six nipples.
I saw 4 mule deer in my yard today. I’ve seen as many as 9.
They are regular visitors, even though the housing area is fully developed.
Yes, I mentioned my frequent visitors back on May 12th when talking about building an enclosure to keep them away from my lilacs. But I failed to mention that they were mule deer.

Trapped another racoon last night and disposed of her nearly-invulnerable self.
I always feel bad about it, in spite of knowing what they were creeping around my chicken coop for in the first place.

Sunny and 97, heat index of 109. Sink hole developed in the street in front of my house. Deputies from the Sheriffs’ department showed up to block traffic until the DOT showed up to fill the sink hole. The recent excessive rain and heat are the probable cause.
Intelligent people have more zinc and copper in their hair…Explains why my hair is silver…
