I love how liberals think opinions matter when we have the transcript.
Basically, they have a problem with it being called a transcript. It is a memo but one which is as close to verbatim as possible, taken by professional staff. One witness wanted to alter it but his suggestions were rejected. This is and has been the normal method of recording discussions between the President and foreign leaders for decades, from what I have read.
Many liberals want to believe this was somehow surreptitiously altered to favor Trump. They have to, otherwise they are left with that memo being the best evidence available and it doesn’t support all of their conspiracy theories. The latest ones I mean, not the old Russian collusion conspiracy theories that they have pretty much dropped as a failure.
They have 2 distinct meanings. Meanings matter.
