Rep. Ilhan Omar sparked a growing backlash from Democrats and Republicans across the United States Monday; facing fierce criticism after posting another series of anti-Semitic and conspiratorial tweets on social media over the weekend.

“Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., sparked backlash Sunday evening from members of both parties — including former first daughter Chelsea Clinton — after she accused a prominent lobbying group of paying members of Congress to support Israel,” writes Fox News.

“It’s all about the Benjamins baby,” tweeted Omar; suggesting America’s support for Jerusalem was tied to Israeli lobbying groups.

“House Democrat leaders should condemn this anti-Semitism and immediately remove @IlhanMN from the House Foreign Affairs Committee,” fired back Liz Cheney.

“We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism,” added Chelsea Clinton.
