Three little Bobcats

I rarely catch Stalker on motion camera…but yesterday was no ordinary day. It was raining cats and dogs.

Camera fogged up tad bit.

totally soaked cat.

Clumsy came out this morning. Should name him Bounty because he always bounds off with his loit.

I think he’s going to be a really big cat.

Also known kills I’ve found in my workshop…I believe it is them.

Douglas squirrel and rabbit tails. The rabbit was literately torn to shreds like couple cats was pulling on it from multiple directs.

And of course dead rat was found too…which I might add I haven’t seen singly beady pair of eyes in a month or so around feeding plots.

Gimp…I believe it was him is most definitely expanding his turf.

Looks like they’re hunting on their own now. Might be time soon?

I’m just putting out two thighs a day now…it’s more like a snack for em if they’re in the area.

Clumsy did come out day before yesterday and taken both pieces…have to check the video to see if anyone else came out. Gimp did came out today and taken first piece.

But couple days ago there were about 6 or 7 sighting near or around the post.

Now having said that I don’t know how far they’re roaming. Adult male cat will have territory of 20 square miles while female will have around 5.

Also it seems Clumsy and Gimp come in and out from the north while Stalker still comes in and out on old path. I wonder is she kicked out the boys.

Either way, even if they’re are hunting on there own putting couple pieces out and calling em allows me to monitor them and check there health status.

LOL knowing my luck they won’t show up.

But I have thought about it before. Releasing a chicken but decided it one think giving em chicken and training them to kill chickens.

As far as I know…they haven’t figured out what I’m giving em is chicken.

Oh yeah, true. Don’t teach them to prey on livestock. Wild game keeps them out of trouble.
