This is the kind of person that today's Democrat Party sees as the enemy

The touch of “even a George Soros-backed DA didn’t want to press charges” in Heritage’s screed was a particularly nice touch.

Gotta hit all the favorite notes!

So a little more digging, wasn’t hard…

The DOJ dredged up an 11 month old incident that didn’t even warrant a local prosecution 330+ days ago when it happened, that was thrown out as a civil suit, and at worst involved a couple of guys shoving each other because one of those guys was harassing the other one’s child…a civil suit filed against Mr. Houck was tossed out. There’s simply no there there…Yet a bunch of gun toting agents showed up at Mr. Houck’s house to take him into custody (He had offered to come in to their office).

In my post above I linked a Heritage Foundation piece recognizing that the FACE Act, under which Mr. Houck is being charged…has been somewhat one sidedly enforced.

From FoxNews.com, dated September 14. Headline - “Zero arrests in at least 17 Jane’s Revenge attacks on pro-life organizations”.

“Not a single arrest has been made in the more than a dozen attacks on pro-life organizations across the country claimed by left-wing pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge…Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for at least 18 arson and vandalism attacks on crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) and other faith-based organizations throughout the U.S. since the May 2 leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade…The Federal Bureau of Investigation first told Fox News Digital in June that it had launched an investigation into the targeted vandalism. The FBI said in a Sept. 7 statement that it was still investigating the “series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations, and reproductive health clinics across the country, as well as to judicial buildings, including the US Supreme Court,” but it made no mention of Jane’s Revenge specifically.”

Among the activities listed as prohibited under the FACE Act…“(3)intentionally damages or destroys the property of a facility, or attempts to do so, because such facility provides reproductive health services, or intentionally damages or destroys the property of a place of religious worship,”

Jane’s Revenge is the bunch that is found of spray painting things like “If abortion’s aren’t safe neither are you” on buildings houseing Pregnancy Crisis Centers that they have just tried to destroy. In fact back in June they actually published a letter announcing their intentions. "The pro-abortion radical group dubbed “Jane’s Revenge” that’s claimed responsibility for various arson attacks and vandalism since the leak of a draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade published a new letter Tuesday declaring “open season” on pro-life pregnancy crisis centers…The letter spoke of a supposed 30-day deadline for all pro-life groups to cease operations and condemned those “who impersonate healthcare providers in order to harm the vulnerable.” Letter signed by radical abortion group Jane's Revenge declares 'open season' on pro-life pregnancy centers | Fox News

Now, unless you want to claim that the words “because such facility provides reproductive health services” don’t include Pro Life Pregnancy Centers, (Not to mention all the other laws being broken when those buildings are being attacked) this Jane’s Revenge bunch has committed clear FACE Act Violations. Senator Tom Cotton sent a letter to Mr. Garland in June…“The senator included a list of more than a dozen attacks that Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for in recent weeks following the leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that if published, would overturn Roe v. Wade. Given many of these attacks did not result in any arrests, Cotton said the DOJ should bring federal charges against the perpetrators…” "What is the Department of Justice doing to protect Americans from these violent attacks? At a minimum, you should bring federal charges3 against the perpetrators, where appropriate, and investigate ‘Jane’s Revenge’ as a domestic terrorist organization, Cotton wrote…“If you are unwilling to protect Americans from these attacks, you should resign-although, in my opinion, you should resign in any case,” he added. The list at the end of a letter noted that on May 7, St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Ft. Collins, Colorado, had its windows smashed and was vandalized with the message, “My Body My Choice,” plus an anarchist symbol. The next day, Wisconsin Family Action in Madison, Wisconsin is firebombed and vandalized with the threat, “if abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.” Cotton: Garland must resign over DOJ inaction on Jane's Revenge, more than 50 attacks on pro-life groups | Fox News

On June 14, Jane’s Revenge claimed responsibility for smashing windows and spray-painting “ABORTION IS LIBERATION” at Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life in Minneapolis. Police told Fox News Digital no arrests were made, and the case is currently “closed.”…Jane’s Revenge claimed credit for the June 20 vandalism at Redford Pregnancy Care Center in Michigan. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police told Fox News Digital…The Respect Life Ministry office in Hollywood, Florida, the Lennon Pregnancy Center in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, the Life Choices clinic in Longmont, Colorado, the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Clearway Clinic in Worcester, Mass., were also hit with vandalism on May 30, June 19, June 25, June 25, and July 8, respectively, in separate attacks claimed by Jane’s Revenge. Those police departments did not respond to Fox News Digital’s inquiries, but the five clinics said they’re not aware of any arrests being made." Zero arrests in at least 17 Jane's Revenge attacks on pro-life organizations | Fox News

I did a search for arrests being made of the domestic terrorists (IMHO) at Jane’s Revenge…found none. Maybe I missed something.

But I find it curious…How is it exactly that Merrick Garland’s DOJ can find time to raid Mark Houck’s home a year after a shoving match on the street that resulted in a civil lawsuit against Houck being thrown out…But this Jane’s Revenge bunch can vandalize and firebomb all over the country and…NOTHING!

These are legitimate questions worthy of the asking. Just thought I’d share a little actual information for those of you interested in more than 7th grade level bullying and insults.

Democrats bread and butter has been persecution porn for decades. Democrats have been claiming that conservatives are supposedly persecuting gays, coloureds, the poor, criminals, LGBTQXYZ, muslims… and they still cannot give it up. So I guess you would know.

Never forget. When a lib accuses someone of something, it’s to cover for what they do themselves.

I am sure
creeping sharia
those people just want more right than we have
flat tax
wasn’t something anybody here railed about

Oh and i love that you threw criminals in there. Like Rockefeller laws, mandatory minimums, Biden’s crime bill etc weren’t a thing.

You (deliberately?) misunderstand the term.

Persecution porn is the fantastical, conspiratorial nonsense you guys ©️ like to post and share. Jade Helm, WalMart Internment Camps, and the Secret ACA Army are all examples.

More recent examples would be the Secret IRS Army and of course

And

You all ©️ love to pass it back and forth to scare yourselves with ever increasing detail and dark mutterings about the Deep State or whatever.

We don’t see Houck as an enemy. It appears he may have broken the law, and we have now begun the process to determine the truth of the matter. This is what societies based on the rule of law do. All the rest of it is hooey.

Oooh…Creeping Sharia. Good one, I forgot about it.

…and what a shame that so many are naive to this truth, that they felt compelled to restate it.

If you read back thru this thread it’s kinda funny in a depressing sort of way…

In this thread our left wing friends have offered nothing but snark and ridicule…

I m curious if lefties really want an America where the prevailing party in power gets to pick who does and does not get a knock on the door from 20 armed FBI agents at 6 AM…

Lady Justice wears a blindfold for a reason…

Sadly you have a good point.

You have mixed some historical made up nonsense like jade helm garbage in with a very current and real case that has strong aspects of political or ideological persecution. Obviously jade helm has nothing to do with the current case. Which makes your responses and your made up term of “persecution porn” out to be nothing but trolling to bury a legitimate discussion.

Whatever dude. I was here for Jade Helm, and you all ©️ were INTO it. In fact everybody got so spun up that GOVERNOR ABBOTT got his guard involved.

Sell your nonsense to the tourists man, I know better

As far as your “aspect of persecution”: please. Duly sworn warrants served by agents of the law is not persecution. It’s the system, it’s rule of law.

Pretending that it is something it is not: that is persecution porn

I fear you are wasting your time…

Leftists are going to call us names accuse us of racism and climate denial ism and a bunch of other isms. None of which has a damn thing to do with the issue at hand. They’ve spent the whole thread trying to turn it into some broader discussion of creative ways (not really that persecution porn garbage is stupid) to pigeon hole the world into their silly narratives.

This thread is sadly about as thoughtful as the left is capable of…

If you ©️ are so concerned about silly narratives, why do you ©️ keep pushing them, and inventing new ones?

False statement, I was never into Jade Helm.

I suspect the KGB acted according to the law. That is not always an excuse.

Are you familiar with the convention of putting a :point_right: ‘©’ by “you” words and what it means?

I assume you are not trying to copyright any of that stuff so you are free to tell us if you wish.

So, when I say

the ‘©️’ is meant to indicate you collectively; your team, your side. Not YOU specifically.

So this type of thing:

…is not required.
