In both cases two wannabes jumped into a situation they knew nothing about thinking they were right. If Ahmed had shot the two assaulting him they would be very similar legally.

Pretty much like every other prepper, but they also had hazmat suits. lol
They probably haven’t come out of their connex bunkers since February. 
You’re fantasizing about shooting people. I spent more than a few years living in justified fear of a kick-door robbery, had guns all over the house like a loon including over the front door, but I never sat around like you know what would be awesome, if I got to shoot some people who came to rob me.
