Funny thing about the Mueller report… did not see one instance of the Trump campaign talking about handing information over to the FBI for proper investigation.
Yet somehow… Schiff responding to a prank call is exactly the same as a months long concerted effort to obtain information from a foreign adversary that was only stymied by bad luck and incompetence.

Schiff handed the evidence to the FBI.
He turned his back on Australia when he revoked his Australian citizenship; so yes I can blame the US for him.
For the record to explain his foreign interference in Australian politics. He owns major newspapers in 5 of our capital cities and 1 of our 2 territory capitals plus a number of regional papers. He also has Sky News (Australia) which can be considered a mini-Fox News. His newspapers particularly in our three biggest cities have campaigned incessantly and consistently for the Liberal/National Party government against the Australian Labor Party opposition.
Well… he sought after US citizenship so he could basically start FOX News.

I understand that he needed to be an American citizen and I think Australia should exclude foreign nationals from having the type of influence that Murdoch exerts on Australian politics though his media outlets…

And where did this dossier get its information from? Either Steele made it up in his room or it came from Russians, some of whom were top echelon in the government to know anything about any of this…,if not directly from Putin.
If Trump had a dossier like this on Hillary don’t you think there would be a huge call to answer these questions…and to condemn Trump?
If Trump has gone the route of obtaining opposition research through a few levels of intermediaries that actually would have been okay.
I do love this comparison to a document that supposedly was crucial to the Clinton campaign but the public didn’t know about it until after the election.
That is really trying to square the circle there.

We didn’t know about the dossier…that doesn’t mean the people who paid for it didn’t know about it.
They were tricked by their own media into believing they had this election sewed up. Of course they didn’t use their hail Mary pass. There was always the chance it could come back to bite them…as it is doing now.

So the dossier is bad simply because it exists not because it was used.
Interesting argument.
How would one apply that to activity of a campaign having myriad contacts with an adversarial foreign power to obtain stolen information but was unable to only because of bad luck and incompetence?
Does that rise to the same level that makes one so upset about the Steele Dossier?

There it is. It’s alright if my side does it. And then the spin to defend. Your side has it’s share of crazies and you will defend them at every turn as long as they might get your side a little more power.
You seem to only have a problem with the crazy stuff and skirting the law stuff and lies when the other sides does it.
