The Washington Post: Official Presidential lie tracker

You know who lies a lot? NOT TRUMP that’s who!

They were too busy covering important stuff like tan suits, mom jeans, and mustard; documenting a President lying is not worth their time…

Even better is what is the Washington Post its selfs lie tally?

Probably so high it would burn a calculator out!

To me the biggest outrage are lies and grossly misleading statements by liberal “fact checkers”.

For example here is a list of lies and falsehoods from the Washington Post fact checker:

The fact checkers rarely ever evaluate statements from Democrats, even for the most obvious lies. Instead they comb through conservative responses to find any exaggerations and fact check them. They have even repeatedly fact-checked satirical comedy:

I follow Politifact more than the Washington Post. According to Politifact, Trump has 262 “false” statements and 109 “pants on fire” statements. Since Trump has been President, he has 47 “pants on fire” statements.

Can you trust his political opponents to be fair? If so why?

What is western journal?

I read the article and it’s in unsourced op-Ed.

But I’ll just give you these 10. Good job.

Trump lies much more than your typical politician. Let’s compare Trump to McConnell, Obama and Romney.

McConnell has 0 “pants on fire” statements and 6 “false” statements.
Obama has 9 “pants on fire” statements and 71 “false” statements.
Romney has 19 “pants on fire” statements and 32 “false” statements.
Trump has as many as 109 “pants on fire” statements.
Since Trump has been President, he has 47 “pants on fire” statements.

So a political opponent is calling the President a big fat liar? Shocking!

I need to make up a law of politics so I can spam it over and over again too.

You do that. Meanwhile, I will use ones that are actually true. Agreed?

Trump has two big faults. He lies about little things when there is really no point. If someone is critical about anything he says he will try to verbally destroy them.

As far as the lies, I think it comes from a history of hyperbole as a salesman. This is the greatest casino ever. This is the biggest sports match ever.

However, the biggest lie politicians usually tell is to say what they are going to try to achieve and then give it up once elected in order to get in good with the media or some other reason. Trump has tried to achieve his goals as promised, so barring better options I will be voting for him again.

Oh, and I don’t care about his historical personal life. Neither do those who pretend they do.

At least “pants on fire” is only a little silly. Its hard to take the WashPo seriously with its “Pinocchios”.

Why would you align yourself to either side?

Why seek any means to justify Trump’s mendacity and corruption? Why deflect? Why dismiss?

They lie to themselves oftentimes so there you go.

“Trump only lies about the little things” is itself a lie, which makes it all the more fun.
